Cruise News: Carnival Jubilee Float Out

 Well, it's official: she floats.

This past Friday, Carnival's newest ship, the 183,200 GT Carnival Jubilee, had her float out.  The ship, originally planned for AIDA Cruises tested out her bow thrusters and stabilizers on Saturday.  The ship is slated to be homeported in Galveston, and proudly displays the Texas Star on her bow.  Like her sister ships, Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration, she features and low-emission liquefied natural gas (LGN) propulsion system. Her first cruise out of Galveston is scheduled for December 23, 2023.
